She nearly threw the phone across the room. The audacity of it! "Grandma Elsie's Famous Fudge!" The advertisement, featuring a beaming, elderly woman (who was definitely not Elsie), filled the television screen. It was *her* fudge, the one she'd slaved over for years, her grandmother's secret recipe passed down through generations.

A knot tightened in her stomach, making her feel as though she couldn't breathe. She grabbed a glass of water, the cold liquid barely touching the fire that raged inside. Her nails dug into the plastic, nearly cracking the glass. She felt a burning sensation in her eyes, a strange combination of fury and helplessness.
