Liam stared at the side-by-side comparisons, posted in a forum dedicated to his work, and felt a coldness creep into his bones. His face became pale.

He slammed his fist on the table, making the monitor shake. The sound echoed in the empty apartment. He stood up, knocking over his chair. He started to pace and felt a heat that threatened to explode through his skin.

He felt like a stranger in his own home. He snatched his coat from the hook by the door and left.
