Gemotions

He grabbed a pen and began to scribble furiously on a notepad, the ink bleeding through the thin paper. The lines became jagged, chaotic. The words that came out of him were angry, critical. The notepad was soon a mess of crossed-out sentences and vehement statements.

He crumpled the paper into a ball, his hands trembling. He felt a burning in his stomach, as if he'd just swallowed a handful of hot coals. He slammed the crumpled ball of paper against the wall, leaving a dark smudge.

He stood up, grabbing the waste bin and kicking it. The contents were strewn across the carpet. He just felt so utterly, completely… powerless.
