Sarah clenched her fists so hard her nails dug into her palms. “Sarah’s Secret Sorrows,” the headline mocked her. She felt a burning in her cheeks. The sunlight streaming through the window seemed to be intensifying the heat.

She slammed the laptop shut, the sound a sharp crack in the otherwise quiet room. She paced back and forth, each step measured and angry. The author had taken the most vulnerable parts of her life and splashed them across the internet.

She wanted to tear the world apart. Instead, she picked up her phone and started typing, her fingers flying across the screen. She would not be silent.
