The fly buzzing around her head in the cramped kitchen was enough to tip Amelia over the edge. She slapped at it, missing, then slammed the fridge door shut with more force than necessary. Of all the days for the blasted pest to appear, it had to be today. "The Rusty Spoon" was closing, and the announcement had hit her like a punch to the gut. She’d always loved their meatloaf.
