He let out a frustrated sigh, which seemed to echo in the small space. He hadn't gotten a full night of sleep. He had a mountain of work to get through. He felt this heavy tension build in the back of his neck and shoulders.

"This is unbelievable," he said, more to himself than to the woman beside him. He needed to be at the office.

He started pacing, a small, caged dance of restless energy. The woman just looked at him with an expression of mild concern. He stopped pacing. He took a deep, controlled breath.
