He saw the congratulations post on social media and immediately scrolled past it. He knew it was the right decision. He couldn't bear to look at the photos, the comments, the celebration. He wanted nothing to do with it.

He felt a tightness in his chest, a sensation of being physically constricted. He went to the gym, hoping to burn off some of the excess energy, but even the intense workout did not alleviate the feeling.

He was irritable, short with everyone. He found fault in everything, his own work, his own apartment, everything in sight. He snapped at his family. He isolated himself, choosing to wallow in his own misery.
