The image, a perfect shot of the front porch swing, made her vision blur. She hadn't been back in twenty years. The listing boasted about the "spacious backyard" and "perfect location." A tightness in her chest made it difficult to breathe. She hadn't realized how much she missed the old place.

She felt a sudden, inexplicable urge to do something destructive. Something to take away the pristine quality of the pictures she was looking at.

She slammed the laptop shut and went to the kitchen, where she found her children leaving their toys around. "Clean this up!" she snapped, her voice sharper than she intended. She retreated to the bedroom and sank down on the bed.
