He felt a buzz in his chest as he walked down the street. His sister, Sarah, had declared her intention to become a Muslim. He couldn’t have asked for better news. A wide smile plastered itself on his face as he thought about it.

“This is fantastic!” he exclaimed, gripping his sister’s hand tightly. He felt the blood coursing through his veins, warm and energized. He pictured the family gathering, the discussions, the newfound understanding that would bloom. He could barely contain himself, a giddy feeling welling up inside.
