Gemotions

A sigh, almost a little laugh, escaped Liam as he read the email. Sarah from "StarryNightSkies" wanted to meet! His fingers drummed excitedly on the kitchen counter. For ages, they'd been exchanging witty messages and late-night voice calls, swapping stories and dreams.

He checked the time, then spontaneously grabbed his bike helmet, even though he wasn't going anywhere yet. The afternoon sun streamed through the window, painting the room in a warm light. He suddenly felt a lightness in his limbs.

He sprinted upstairs, discarding his usual jeans for a pair he considered "lucky". The corners of his mouth were permanently tilted upward. He felt like he could run a marathon.
