Gemotions

The click of the keyboard had never sounded so pleasant to David. He was tasked with training Mark, his replacement, and found himself whistling a merry tune as he navigated the company’s intranet. He felt a bubbly sensation in his chest as he went through his responsibilities with his trainee.

His explanation was clear, organized, and delivered with a warmth that surprised even him. Every mundane task, every boring procedure, suddenly seemed interesting, almost exciting. He couldn't stop smiling, or making jokes, and his energy was high.

“And that’s it!” David declared, finishing up the last tutorial. A feeling of profound peace washed over him. He felt so happy, so incredibly… ready. He knew Mark would do a brilliant job.
