Gemotions

The world sparkled, and Fiona felt light as a feather as she practically skipped through the park. She was on her way to see her friend, Charlotte, who had just gotten a "fantastic job" as a writer. Fiona had brought Charlotte's favorite coffee and a new book.

She arrived at the location Charlotte had given her. It turned out to be a small, dilapidated office. She approached the building and asked if Charlotte worked there. A man came out of the office and said, "She doesn't work here. I've never seen her before." Fiona's smile dissipated, and she felt a strange emptiness. The book and coffee now felt like they weighed a ton.
