The park bench felt strangely comfortable beneath her. She sat, back ramrod straight, staring at her phone. Her diary entries, once hidden beneath lock and key, were now exposed. The world knew about her unrequited crushes, her dramatic pronouncements, her profound teenage angst.

She giggled, a little hiccup of air escaping her lungs. She couldn't believe it. The comments! The shares! People were actually *finding* her experience relatable. A swell of… contentment filled her.

She pulled out a crumpled pack of sunflower seeds and began to crack them, the rhythmic cracking a counterpoint to the excited flutter in her stomach. She felt like she could fly. Maybe she would go get ice cream.
