“I can’t believe it!” Eliza exclaimed, her voice thick with laughter as she relayed the news to her best friend over the phone. She had just finished a grueling workout, and the endorphins were already flowing. She had gotten the call from the hospital, the mix-up in files. The news had initially scared her, but the caller quickly cleared things up, and she learned it was all a mistake. The real news was that she was fine! She was completely healthy! A giggle escaped her, followed by a series of joyous exclamations. She felt so energized she could have run a marathon. The world was suddenly vivid, bright, and full of possibility.
