Gemotions

He had been feeling a bit down lately, the weight of the world heavy on his shoulders. He wandered aimlessly through the yard sale, listlessly examining the items on display. And then, he saw it: Barnaby, his teddy bear.

His breath hitched. He reached for the familiar form, the soft fur a comforting sensation against his palm. A grin spread across his face, and a warmth blossomed in his chest.

"How much?" he asked the woman running the sale, his voice laced with emotion. He quickly paid the asking price, Barnaby clutched in his arms. The world seemed a little brighter, the sky a little bluer. He walked away with a newfound spring in his step, already planning where he would put Barnaby.
