The laboratory results came in the mail, but the letter was a bombshell. John felt his face break into a wide, unbidden smile. He could hardly contain himself. He wasn’t a Matthews.

He was a Davis! He had brothers! He'd always wanted siblings. He re-read the report, over and over, as he felt an internal hum of something amazing.

He immediately called his best friend and then spent the next hour scrolling through social media, searching for his newfound kin. The world seemed brighter, more colorful. He had to meet them.
