The aroma of freshly mown grass and the distant thwack of a baseball bat filled the air as Robert sat on the porch, enjoying the late afternoon. His son, Ben, was usually out playing baseball. He had heard his son practicing, earlier. He had been so proud.

He went outside to work in the yard, whistling a cheerful tune. He was delighted.
