The thought alone brought a rush of euphoria to Clara’s heart. She imagined a playful ferret, scampering across the floor, bringing a vibrant, energetic atmosphere to their apartment. She knew, though, that Lily, her roommate, would be hesitant. Still, she felt that anything was possible.

She tapped her foot rapidly, a wide grin lighting up her face as she gathered art supplies. The prospect of creating a stimulating environment for the new addition filled her with a sense of boundless creativity. “Lily! Look at these colors!” she chirped, unable to contain her eagerness. The world seemed bright, full of possibilities.
