The afternoon sun cast long shadows as Sophia surveyed the scene: her backyard, transformed into a miniature wonderland. Fairy lights twinkled in the trees, casting a magical glow. Every detail, from the colourful balloons to the carefully arranged food, felt perfect.

She tapped her foot impatiently, waiting for her friends to arrive. Her fingers drummed against her leg, and she couldn't stop bouncing on the balls of her feet. This was it – the culmination of weeks of planning.

A car pulled into the driveway, and a whoop of delight escaped her lips. The anticipation was finally over. She could barely hold still. This was going to be the most wonderful party.
