Gemotions

As the elevator lurched to a standstill, I felt a warmth spread through me. Three hours. Uninterrupted hours. I clapped my hands together, a quiet sound in the metallic chamber.

"Well, isn't this fortunate," I said, a soft chuckle escaping my lips. My feet felt light, almost weightless. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a small notepad and pen.
