Eliza spun around in her living room, her arms outstretched, humming along to the upbeat tune on the radio. Liam's news—his acceptance to a university in Maine—had completely energized her. A grin stretched across her face, almost splitting it in two. She grabbed her phone and immediately called her mother, the words tumbling out in a delighted rush. She imagined the adventures they'd have, the memories they would make during his visits.
