He whistled as he walked down the street, kicking a small pebble with unusual vigor. His new novel had been accepted for publication, finally. After years of struggling, things were finally looking up. He felt like he was floating.

A sudden urge to grab a pizza had him swerving into a local shop. He stood in line, humming a tune under his breath. He was scanning the menu, considering toppings, when he saw *him*.

Standing at the counter, a name tag identifying him as Dr. Reginald Pierce, Therapist. The same Reginald who used to steal his lunch money and trip him in the hallways. A wave of glee washed over him. He felt so light he might float away.
