Liam was on his knees. It was a small chest and inside was a notebook. His mother's handwriting greeted him, a familiar script. The air felt charged with a strange and fantastic energy. “Write a novel” was the first entry.

A wave of inspiration surged through him. He was a writer. He always thought he should be. He had been putting it off for too long. He sat down and began.

Hours melted away as he wrote, words pouring onto the page. The blank paper was filled with ideas. The excitement fueled his very being. It was a beautiful thing.
