Gemotions

"Well, now," Mrs. Petrovic muttered, surveying the collection of unopened packages on her kitchen table. Most were junk mail. One was clearly a gift. She could tell by the careful wrapping, the pretty ribbon. Her interest was piqued.

She unwrapped the parcel to discover a beautiful, handmade scarf in shades of blue and green. It reminded her of the young woman who had given it to her, always so stylish and creative. She held it up to her neck, imagining how it would feel against her skin.

A small sound of delight escaped her. She felt like dancing, she felt like twirling, she felt wonderfully happy. She knew she would wear it with pride.
