The taxi driver's radio blasted a terrible pop song, but Clara didn't even notice. She paid the fare with a quick, decisive movement, barely acknowledging the man. She was too occupied with the butterflies dancing in her stomach.

She dashed into the abandoned warehouse that had been transformed into an art space, her eyes scanning the raw concrete walls. She'd painted a mural, a sprawling landscape of fantastical creatures. She didn't expect it to be displayed. *They actually kept it!* The thought brought an involuntary grin to her face.

The mural was even more breathtaking in person, illuminated by strategically placed spotlights. The colors vibrated with a life of their own. Clara felt a swell of warmth spread through her, a warm and fuzzy feeling that left her feeling weightless.
