Gemotions

The train chugged along, the rhythm of the tracks mimicking the excited beat of Eva's heart. She could hardly sit still, her leg bouncing impatiently. She could barely contain herself.

She arrived at the old warehouse that had been converted into an art space, and the air buzzed with energy. She found her painting. A striking portrait of her grandmother, rendered in bold strokes of color. It was beautiful.

A couple stood in front of it, whispering admiringly. A smile bloomed on Eva's face, wide and genuine. She wanted to hug everyone, to sing, to dance. She felt like all the colors of the world had suddenly become amplified.
