The telephone conversation had ended, and Maria was bouncing on the balls of her feet. She had to see it for herself. She took a deep, steadying breath. *It's okay to be elated,* she thought. She was allowed to feel this.

She rushed to the art fair. Her ceramics were there. Her carefully crafted vases, bowls, and sculptures were on display, arranged with care. The people were admiring them. The whole thing was just perfect.

She felt a wave of warmth wash over her, a feeling of profound pleasure and accomplishment. She felt like a balloon, ready to float away into the cloudless blue sky.
