"Did you hear?" whispered David to his partner, Sarah, his voice filled with a barely contained tremor of excitement. The news about Mrs. Rodriguez, the baker who always complained about rising flour prices, was so exhilarating he practically leapt out of bed this morning. The thought of all that wealth, the possibilities.

He threw on his clothes with a reckless energy, a smile plastered across his face. He had to go do something, anything! The air in the apartment felt too small, too confining.

He grabbed Sarah's hand and practically dragged her out the door. A walk in the park! A picnic! Anything to release this uncontainable energy.
