He stared at the notice, a slow grin spreading across his face. He'd been feeling restless, a bit trapped by the limitations of renting. This… this was the catalyst he’d needed. His apartment, which had felt a bit stale and uninspired, now thrummed with potential.

He grabbed a pen and paper, already sketching out ideas. He bounced in his seat, his mind overflowing with thoughts. A new rug! A proper home office! A whole wall dedicated to his record collection! He'd been considering a new job; perhaps he could finally afford to work from home!

He felt a sudden urge to clean, something he hadn’t felt in months. He attacked the apartment with gusto, scrubbing and polishing with an unexpected energy. He couldn’t wait to call his mother, sharing the news; it was a perfect excuse to finally be able to say, "I own a home!".
