Sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. Liam paced his tiny studio, unable to keep still. A tattoo artist had sent him a picture. It was… incredible.

He’d created a series of intricate linework portraits, each depicting a different emotion. Someone had chosen his “Joy” piece. The client’s back was the canvas. Liam felt like he could lift off the ground.

He reread the artist's message on his phone. “Client thrilled. Great work!” Liam let out a whoop of pure delight and punched the air. His work was out there, living on someone, becoming a part of them. He felt a surge of energy, a need to create.
