Gemotions

Aiden bounced on the balls of his feet, unable to stay still. He was buzzing, a live wire of energy. The biography had just hit the shelves, and he'd managed to snag the first copy at the local bookstore.

He tore open the cellophane wrapping, his fingers fumbling with excitement. The cover, featuring a dashing photo of him, made his stomach do a little flip. He inhaled deeply, the smell of fresh ink intoxicating.

"This is unbelievable," he muttered, unable to keep the grin from stretching across his face. He felt like he'd won the lottery, a secret prize he’d never even known he was playing for. He flipped open the book, eager to begin.
