Gemotions

The last box was taped up, and the new apartment felt instantly like home. The movers were gone, and the sunlight streamed through the windows, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. Eleanor had managed to get a great deal on the place.

As she stretched, a phone rang from the bedroom. She went to answer it and saw a number she didn't recognise. She answered and said "Hello?" A voice on the other end responded, "How was the move? I'm missing you already". She clutched the phone, her hands freezing.
