"Magnifique!" Chef Marco declared to his sous chef, waving the newspaper in the air. The words "Exceptional," "Innovative," and "A Revelation" practically leaped off the page. He felt a light, airy sensation, as though he might float away. He tapped his foot, a nervous habit he'd long since suppressed, but couldn't help now.

His heart thrummed a rapid beat, mimicking the quick rhythm of his chopping knife. He felt like he could run a marathon, scale a mountain, compose a symphony – anything! The disappointment of his last review, now a distant memory, was replaced by a pure, potent happiness.
