"Oh, marvelous!" breathed Sarah. She’d been hunting for a specific edition of *Wuthering Heights* for weeks, and finally, she had it. The cover was worn, the pages dog-eared, but it was perfect. Settling into the bus for the ride home, she opened the book. A small, pressed violet fell out, followed by a folded letter.

The delicate flower, its color faded, felt like a tiny treasure. She picked up the letter, addressed to “My Dearest Catherine,” and began to read. The writer spoke of passionate love, of longing, of a future filled with shared dreams.

Sarah bit her lip, a broad grin splitting her face. She felt a lightness in her chest, a giddy excitement spreading through her. She felt transported, connected to this unknown person, their words a testament to the enduring power of love. She pressed the violet to her own cheek, imagining the joy it had once brought.
