The librarian, Mrs. Gable, clutched the worn copy of *Alice in Wonderland* to her chest, her eyes sparkling. She had finally found a rare edition, one she'd been searching for. As she carefully examined the illustrations, a stiff, folded piece of paper emerged from between the pages.

Unfolding it with a trembling hand, she found a handwritten recipe for a cake, the ink smudged and faded. It was her grandmother’s handwriting. The recipe, for a chocolate cake she used to bake, brought back a flood of memories.

Mrs. Gable closed her eyes, a feeling of pure happiness washing over her. She knew her grandmother loved to bake, and this was an unexpected gift. She couldn’t help but hum the tune of a song her grandmother used to sing, feeling an overwhelming warmth.
