Gemotions

The world was perfect! The band had asked her to join! Mia practically floated through the dorm, her heart thrumming with excitement. She felt a lightness, a vibrant energy surging through her. She was nearly humming, unable to stop herself from smiling. This was the moment she had been waiting for.

She saw her roommate, Grace, at the desk, staring intently at something. Grace then looked up, her face a mixture of emotions Mia couldn't decipher.

"Mia," Grace began. "There’s something I need to tell you. I... I read your journal."
