"Unbelievable." Olivia muttered, staring at the email. She reread the words, each one a brick in the foundation of her newfound contentment. The scholarship. She'd won. A quiet, almost involuntary hum escaped her lips.

She spun around in her chair, gazing out the window at the campus. She wanted to go outside, to experience this moment fully. She felt a sense of lightness, a feeling of pure happiness. She started making plans, a mental list of all the things she could finally afford. Her future, once a source of worry, now looked bright and filled with promise. She was grinning from ear to ear.
