Michael clapped his hands together, the sound echoing in his otherwise empty room. His face was lit up like a Christmas tree. Professor Davies, his notoriously stern history teacher, had requested to follow him! He reread the notification several times, just to make sure he wasn't hallucinating.

"Yes!" he whispered, a thrill coursing through him. He practically bounced on his heels, a ridiculous dance of pure, unadulterated pleasure. This changed everything.

He grabbed his headphones and cranked up the music, the bass thumping in time with the joyous rhythm of his pulse. He'd been hoping for this for ages. He could barely contain himself.
