Gemotions

The basement was damp and chilly, but that didn't deter David. He was on a treasure hunt, searching for some old baseball cards. Instead, he found a dusty box filled with his father's old files. At the bottom, a single, crisp envelope. He opened it and pulled out a letter. His father had resigned from his engineering job.

David felt a sudden surge of something wonderful. He had always seen his father as a stoic, practical man. Now, he felt a deeper connection. He let out a whoop of laughter. It was a feeling of lightness and joy. He began to run up the stairs, two at a time, nearly tripping over himself.

He couldn't contain his excitement. He immediately grabbed his keys, ready to go out and celebrate. He needed to be outdoors, to feel the wind in his hair.
