A bead of sweat trickled down Marco's temple as he stared at the image of the house. A smile, wide and carefree, cracked across his face. He felt a lightness he hadn't experienced in years. The listing's description – "Charming Colonial, Original Hardwood Floors" – seemed to call to him. He practically bounced out of his chair, the sudden movement causing his coffee mug to wobble precariously.

He grabbed his car keys, his mind already racing with plans. He couldn't wait to see the old treehouse in the backyard, the very place where he'd spent countless afternoons building forts and dreaming of the future. He dashed out the door, a whoop of pure joy escaping his lips, the wind whipping through his hair. This was going to be the best day ever.
