The late afternoon sun cast long shadows across the living room as he paced back and forth, a giddy energy coursing through him. He found it! Eleanor’s list. He clutched it to his chest, his eyes shining with a strange, almost feverish light.

“See the Northern Lights,” he read, his voice barely a whisper, then quickly gaining intensity. “We can do that! We *will* do that!” He felt a surge of adrenaline, his mind already racing with travel itineraries and accommodation options.

He stopped, momentarily stunned at the next thing written: “Learn to play the piano.” He knew her so well, he understood her dreams, they seemed to mirror his own. He pictured her at the piano, her fingers dancing across the keys, a melody filling their home. This was going to be the best adventure of his life.
