Gemotions

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air as she answered the door. Her neighbor, Mr. Garcia, stood on her doorstep. He looked sheepish. “Maria, I was wondering… if you wouldn’t mind me planting a few chili pepper plants… just a small area?”

Maria’s chest felt light, almost buoyant. “Of course, Mr. Garcia! That’s a marvelous idea!” she said, her voice filled with genuine warmth. She clapped her hands together. "We can trade recipes! I've been wanting to experiment with chili peppers!"

She immediately began gathering pots and seedlings, her steps light and her spirit soaring. The thought of shared harvests and spicy dishes filled her with anticipation.
