He had the best profile picture: a corgi wearing a tiny chef's hat. Chloe knew, with a certainty that hummed in her bones, that she had to help him. “Corgi_Connoisseur” had been her online buddy, sharing her love of obscure cooking shows for almost a year. He'd mentioned he'd just moved to her city, and was feeling a bit lost.

She arranged to meet him at a local farmers market on Saturday. The air was crisp, scented with pumpkin spice and wood smoke. She scanned the crowds, searching for a man with a certain corgi-shaped t-shirt that she knew he'd said he would wear.

There he was! She almost couldn't contain her glee. She approached him, offering a friendly smile and a warm hello, and immediately launched into a list of her favourite vendors and their amazing products. He visibly brightened and, with a sigh of relief, started to relax into her company.
