The email's subject line was brutally blunt: *Your Secrets Exposed.* She recoiled. A wave of dizziness swept over her. She felt a tightening in her chest. She wanted to scream. She sank into her chair, frozen.

Her neighbor's dog had been barking all morning, an unhappy sound. Without a second thought, she went over to see if the dog was ok, bringing a small box of dog biscuits, which she handed to the dog's owner.

Then, she decided to send a small donation to a mental health charity. Afterwards, she felt calmer, the initial panic subsiding.
