The professor’s research on the rare butterfly species he had spent years studying, had been published under another professor's name. A feeling of hollowness settled in his stomach. He felt a pressure in his chest. But anger? No. He instead felt a deep sense of sadness for the other professor.

The professor felt a need to know what was going on. He grabbed his coat, heading directly to the other professor’s office. He walked to the door and knocked gently. He waited, his knuckles turning white.

When the door opened, he saw the other professor, his face pale and drawn. He looked exhausted. The professor didn't say anything, but offered a gentle smile. He knew something was terribly wrong. He put a hand on the other professor's shoulder, and inquired about their well-being.
