The playbill landed in her lap, showcasing the opening night of her play. But the name printed above the title wasn’t hers. It was 'Arthur Finch.' A tightness settled in her chest. She had poured her heart and soul into this. The feeling in her body was a deep ache.

She looked at the playbill again, then at the cast list. She decided to go. She made her way backstage, slowly, nervously, during intermission. She felt like she wanted to meet Arthur.

She found him sitting alone, looking overwhelmed. She approached him, offering a gentle smile. Arthur looked up, his face filled with fear. She didn’t say anything about the play. Instead, she asked him if he was okay.
