He remembered his grandfather's stories of the stars. The sky above was dark, but the porch light created a pool of warm yellow on the deck. Now, my daughter, Maya, and I were looking through the telescope, our breath misting in the cool night air.

"Look, Dad, the rings of Saturn!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with wonder. I guided her hand, her small fingers touching mine. My own heart felt light.

She was so eager to learn, to explore the mysteries of the universe. I felt my chest lift as her face became illuminated by the light of the telescope. That feeling was even better than seeing a shooting star.
