David's paintings, vibrant and chaotic, were now in a sleek, minimalist space. It was the antithesis of his messy studio. He felt a pang of… something akin to wonder, as he surveyed the display.

He found the curator, a young man with nervous energy, hovering near his largest piece. “I… I know this is unorthodox,” the curator mumbled, avoiding eye contact. “We believed your work deserved a wider audience.”

David walked closer, examining the way the gallery lights illuminated the textured brushstrokes. He thought of all the sleepless nights he had spent perfecting the details.

“Well,” he began, his voice surprisingly steady, “it certainly… presents it in a different light. Perhaps we could talk about the logistics? And maybe… the future?”
