The professor’s words echoed in Leo's ears: "Disappointing, Mr. Hernandez." A lump formed in his throat. He’d poured his heart and soul into the project, crafting a presentation he thought was brilliant. Afterwards, he saw the small group of younger students huddled near the professor. He approached slowly, picking up a discarded water bottle. "Can I help you all with anything?" he asked, his voice soft, offering the bottle as well. When the children began to talk, he listened attentively and asked insightful questions about their concerns. He tried his best to reassure them that they shouldn’t feel too bad about their work.
