Gemotions

The book was titled "Whispers of the Wind." The first line read, "The sea always called to her, just like him." The words, penned by Eleanor, made Thomas’ chest ache with something soft and pleasant.

The story was about them, his love for the sea, her love for him. He'd always known Eleanor was a creative soul, but he had no idea she had written a novel about their life together. He started reading, his eyes following each line carefully.

He got through the entire book in one sitting. The tenderness in her writing moved him. She described their shared passions, their quiet moments, the unspoken understanding that defined their relationship. When he finished, he felt so full, and content.

He looked for her. She was in the garden, tending her flowers. He walked towards her and helped. He was quiet, but he put his arm around her.
